First Time Shooting Sports

I've been going to the Danbury Westerners baseball games a bit lately, but haven't had a long enough lens to zoom in close on the action until I got my Sigma 70-200mm last week. Basically, the lens kicks butt, so I tried it out at their game last night (read my review of the lens here under Author "TheHooded_Mike"). It was my first time shooting sports (athletics), so my shots should only get better from here on.
All shots were taken with my D300 and Sigma 70-200mm lens (all at f/2.8 except the first at f/4).
I found out that shooting sports is more about anticipating the action than reacting to it, so I'll keep that in mind for next time.
